You can try on Tecovas cowboy boots in person at The Man’s Shop, 100 S. West Street in Downtown Arlington, Texas. We stock the major styles and exotic leathers, we fit them properly, and anything we don’t have on the shelf we can usually order within a couple of days.
Why in person
Boots are a fitting, not a checkout
A western boot has no laces. The fit is set the moment you choose the size, and the instep either holds you or it doesn’t.
That is why boots ordered online travel back and forth in boxes. In the shop, you walk in the boot on a hard floor, we check the heel slip and the instep, and you leave in the right pair the first time. Twenty minutes settles what two weeks of exchanges cannot.
And because we are a full menswear store, the boots do not stop at the boots. Enrique, our master tailor, hems trousers to break correctly over whichever pair you choose — a detail online retail simply cannot offer.

What we keep on the shelf
- Everyday leathers
- Smooth calf and bovine styles in the colors men actually wear — black, brown, tan. The pairs that go with jeans on Saturday and a sport coat on Thursday.
- Full-quill ostrich
- The classic exotic. Soft, flexible, comfortable from the first wearing, with the raised quill pattern across the vamp.
- Caiman
- The dressed-up end of the case. Structured, glossy, and at home with tailored clothing. We stock black and chocolate.
- Round-ups and ropers
- Lower-profile everyday silhouettes for men who want the boot without the statement.
- Special orders
- If Tecovas makes it and we don’t have it, we can usually have it in the shop within a couple of days — in your size, ready to try.

Yes. Enrique, our master tailor, hems jeans and trousers to the correct break over boots. Most men have their trousers marked at the same fitting.
