Two visits, not five
- First appointment
- About an hour. Cloth, measurements, and a conversation about how you actually wear the garment.
- Build
- Four to six weeks. Nothing is rushed and nothing is sent overseas without us knowing where it is.
- Collection
- Twenty minutes. Anything needing adjustment goes to Enrique, who works on site.
- Alterations
- Included on what we make. There is no separate bill at collection.
- Afterwards
- Your pattern stays on file, so the next order is a phone call.

What collar works under a suit jacket?
Spread or semi-spread, in a cloth with enough body to stand on its own. The test is whether the collar keeps its shape when the jacket goes on — a soft collar collapses and it is obvious across a table.
How many dress shirts do I need?
About ten if you wear one every day. That allows weekly laundering without wearing the same shirt twice in a week, which is also what makes them last.
How should a dress shirt fit at the shoulder?
The seam should sit at the edge of your shoulder, and the yoke should lie flat across your back without pulling. Get that right and the rest is adjustable; get it wrong and nothing else rescues the shirt.
